L3Harris' DoD SkillBridge is connecting transitioning service members to career training opportunities within our organization. We will provide service members with valuable civilian work experience through industry specific training, certifications and on the job experience during their DoD SkillBridge internship to help them ready themselves for their next mission.

This internship is an opportunity for the service member to gain a full understanding of the job position outlined below.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR DOD SKILLBRIDGE JOB OPPORTUNITES YOU MUST BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE U.S. MILITARY WITH 180 DAYS OF SERVICE OR FEWER REMAINING PRIOR TO YOUR DATE OF SEPARATION AND HAVE AT LEAST 180 CONTINUOUS DAYS OF ACTIVE SERVICE.

Essential Functions: This role will support the Business Development activities on the MCC Sector Domestic Sales and BD team. The position focuses on expanding L3Harris domestic reach by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and managing sales and marketing strategies. Key responsibilities include market research, developing business plans, and fostering relationships with clients and partners. This position requires the individual to be capable of handling a broad range of competing priorities daily.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (like business, marketing, or international relations), experience in international sales or business development, strong communication and negotiation skills, and cultural awareness.

· United States Citizenship required with ability to obtain a US security clearance

· Education - Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of prior related experience or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years prior related experience

· 9+ years' experience developing and executing strategies in a DoD environment

· 9+ years of Military or Security Sales experience ideally with a large OEM
