You will collaborate closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Software, Manufacturing, and Validation teams to deliver reliable vehicle hardware from concept through deployment. This position requires strong engineering rigor, practical problem-solving skills, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Support the development and integration of electrical and electronic systems for autonomous vehicle platforms.
Work with engineers and technical leads to define electrical interfaces, component requirements, and integration plans.
Support sensor, compute, power, harnessing, and vehicle electrical system bring-up.
Troubleshoot electrical issues at the bench, subsystem, and vehicle levels.
Assist with component selection, supplier communication, proto@type reviews, and validation activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including interface control documents, wiring details, test plans, and release deliverables.
Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, manufacturing, and validation teams to resolve integration issues.
Support vehicle calibration, system testing, and manufacturing readiness activities.
Participate in design reviews, root cause investigations, and cross-functional problem-solving sessions.
Contribute to improving engineering processes, test procedures, and build readiness for production.
Perform electrical system integration on the vehicle, including wiring, harnessing, power, and communication interfaces.
Lead or support sensor and compute hardware bring-up on test benches and vehicles.
Debug electrical issues on the bench and on vehicles using appropriate tools and methodologies.
Support vehicle builds, testing campaigns, calibration efforts, and preparation for manufacturing.
Help investigate field or production issues and drive them to resolution in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical problems and ensure components meet system requirements.
