This Senior Project Manager will focus on managing the design and delivery of complex transit rail projects in the NY Metro area, working closely with a variety of public- and private-sector stakeholders. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the design of transit rail projects in the NY Metro area as an individual contributor project manager. Administer the design phase of projects from budgeting and scheduling through procurement. Coordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects. Work closely with clients, contractors, and project partners to ensure successful project delivery. Manage and support project @types including: Design-Build Development of Bridging Documents Design-Bid-Build Respond to client-issued RFQs and RFPs and provide guidance to marketing teams for Transit & Rail pursuits. Serve as pursuit manager on proposals for NY Metro Transit Rail clients. Assist with pursuit strategy and overall client approach to help grow VHB's Transit & Rail practice in the region.Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS in civil engineering, 11-15+ years of experience in a design-focused project management role on transit or rail projects.
