The Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS) Product team is at the heart of American Express and is a core function within the GMNS business unit. Each year, we power billions of transactions through our global payments network, serving Issuing & Acquiring partners in more than 170 markets worldwide. Our goal is to enable Card Members to pay however and wherever they choose. We deliver on this by setting the vision and strategy for the Network, anchoring our priorities to enterprise objectives, and developing and managing a portfolio of products. We maintain a strong customer focus, consider competitive and regulatory dynamics, and apply an end-to-end product management approach across strategy, roadmaps, scaling plans, and performance metrics. We lead the end-to-end process, manage the partner lifecycle, and drive industry intelligence and engagement through key governing bodies.
The Agentic Commerce Solutions team is responsible for defining and enabling the future of Agentic Commerce across the Amex Global Network. As AI-driven agents, digital wallets, and automated commerce experiences evolve, we are shaping how the Network supports secure, scalable, and commercially compelling agent-based transactions. Our focus spans tokenization, digital identity, and emerging network capabilities required to power next-generation commerce.
The Manager, Go To Market will support the launch readiness, operational enablement, and execution of Agentic Commerce capabilities. Reporting to the Director, Agentic Commerce Solutions, this colleague will help translate product strategy into actionable go-to-market plans, support cross-functional coordination, and contribute to the processes required to bring Agentic solutions to market with speed and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Support end-to-end go-to-market planning including segmentation, targeting, and launch readiness for Agentic Commerce Solutions, ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and scalability goals
Support execution within established launch frameworks and provide input to improve them over time
Partner cross-functionally to support execution across Product, Technology, Risk, Legal, and Operations teams
Support internal enablement efforts by helping define roles, processes, and execution timelines across dependent teams
Support implementation of governance, risk, and compliance requirements within go-to-market plans
Contribute to onboarding and implementation processes for Agentic capabilities
Manage delivery timelines, risks, and dependencies for assigned initiatives or components
Contribute to operational processes supporting new services, including documentation, controls, and feedback loops
Partner with Strategy & Insights and Product teams to support tracking of adoption metrics and performance indicators
Stay informed on emerging trends, regulatory considerations, and operational implications within agentic and digital commerce
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in payments, platform, or product-related roles, with exposure to go-to-market, operations, or program delivery
Fluency in core go-to-market principles, including segmentation, persona development, value proposition definition, and targeting/prioritization
Foundational understanding of governance, risk, and compliance considerations within financial services
Experience working cross-functionally to support product launches or large-scale initiatives
Strong program management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to operate in a matrixed organization and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex processes clearly
Experience supporting launch readiness or operationalization of new products or capabilities
Familiarity with payments ecosystems, network operations, or digital commerce platforms
Exposure to regulatory, compliance, or control management processes
Interest in emerging commerce models, including AI-driven or automated experiences
