Job Title: Industrial Painter - Manufacturing

?? Location: Ocala, FL (34472)

Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm Mon - Thurs - typically offered 6 hours of optional Friday Overtime

Pay: $23-$28/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a Painter to support our manufacturing operations in Ocala, FL. This role is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing metal components used in power and equipment systems. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial painting and takes pride in producing high-quality, durable finishes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking prior to painting

Apply paint using spray equipment (airless or conventional) and other techniques as needed

Paint metal components, enclosures, and fabricated parts to company standards

Mix paints and coatings to proper specifications

Inspect finished products to ensure quality, consistency, and coverage

Perform touch-ups and rework as needed

Maintain and clean painting equipment and work area

Follow safety procedures related to paint handling, ventilation, and PPE

Work from work orders, job specifications, and basic drawings

Required Qualifications

Experience with industrial or production painting

Ability to use spray guns and painting equipment

Knowledge of surface preparation techniques

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Ability to lift, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications

Experience painting metal or fabricated parts

Familiarity with powder coating or wet paint systems

Basic understanding of blueprints or shop drawings

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting

Experience Level

Entry to Intermediate Level (training available for candidates with basic painting experience)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
