Compensation: $36.40 - $36.40 per hour

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of warehousing duties. Responsible for working with heavy equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, completing paperwork, ensuring tasks are completed safely and on time, and making decisions regarding the transfer of incoming and outgoing inventory.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Load and unload flatbed trucks with the use of a forklift.
Verify material or merchandise against receiving documents.
Examine stored materials, note and report discrepancies, deterioration, and obvious damage.
Route materials to prescribed storage locations.
Store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials.
Remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment/issue.
Palletize heavy and bulk material.
Sort, count, and weigh material.
Store, inspect, and issue material.
Put stock away in bins.
Count stock levels.
Pull and process orders and shipments.
Visual inspection of material.
Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Secure material to pallets with banding or plastic wrap.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
One (1) year of facilities maintenance or warehouse experience preferred.
Forklift experience and certificate required.
Must be able to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers.
Must be able to reach, kneel, walk, stand, use repetitive motion.
Must be able to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods of time.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
