We're seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to work with one of out top biotechnology industry client at the East area of PR.
Responsibilities:
Leading, using and developing data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence capabilities across client's commercial organization
Leading the projects and be part of cross functional teams on projects and/or programs with aims to systematically derive insights that ultimately derive substantial business value for Amgen
Identifying business needs, doing SWOT analysis, proposing potential analytical approaches for solutions, obtain approvals and the execute the work end to end.
Requirements:
Doctorate degree OR Master's + 2 years of data science, business, statistics, data mining, applied mathematics, business analytics, engineering, computer science or related field experience. Preferably Computer Engineering or Computer.
Special Courses or certificates in AI models.
Experience with automated inspection systems development and implementation.
Hands-on experience developing AI/ML models for image analysis, defect detection, classification, or process optimization.
Experience with Computer Vision technologies and industrial camera systems.
Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Experience using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
Experience generating technical documentation, protocols, reports, and development records.
Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), quality systems, and compliance requirements.
Computer literate with proficient use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and digital technologies.
Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, or manufacturing is a plus.
Experience deploying or integrating AI solutions into manufacturing or operational environments is highly desirable.
Work experience in programming, coding, system design and architecture, algorithms and data structures
Experience with statistical software, coding languages (e.g. R, MATLAB, SAS, Python) and database languages (e.g. SQL)
