Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and components. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation

Key Responsibilities

Design, analyze, and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

Perform engineering calculations to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective product development.

Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and proto@types.

Generate and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Evaluate existing products and recommend design improvements or modifications.

Work with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.

Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, etc.).

Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Experience with product testing, validation, and root cause analysis.

Familiarity with GD&T and engineering documentation standards.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEW BERLIN, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
