Mechanical Designer / Mechanical Engineer (Industrial Systems & Materials Handling)

Our team is expanding across a range of complex industrial projects-if you enjoy variety and hands-on problem solving, this could be a strong fit.

As part of the mechanical group, you'll contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems for heavy industrial applications. This includes creating layouts, 3D models, and detailed drawings for conveyors, bulk material handling systems, and related structures such as piping, ducting, and supports.

This role may include occasional short-term travel to project sites for field measurements, condition assessments, or construction support.

Mechanical / Piping / Materials Handling Designers

Ideal candidates will bring:

Formal training in design, drafting, or a related discipline

Experience supporting mechanical design for industrial environments (e.g., processing plants, terminals, manufacturing facilities, or similar)

Proficiency in one or more CAD/design tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Inventor, Navisworks, or Revit

Ability to interpret and apply design standards, specifications, and project requirements

Experience coordinating with internal teams, clients, contractors, or external partners

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-have:

Exposure to fabrication environments or field inspections

Experience with bulk material handling equipment or heavy industrial systems

Mechanical / Piping / Materials Handling Engineers

In addition to the above, engineers should have:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Progress toward or attainment of professional engineering licensure (or equivalent)

Experience in project, field, or package engineering roles is a plus
