Job Title: Sensory Panel Support

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Type: Contract

Compensation: $23- $28/hr.

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 40.0 hours

Overview

Leading food manufacturing company looking for an experienced Sensory Panel Support. Ideal candidates should have an Associates degree or high school diploma with 3-5 years of experience. All candidates must have the ability to taste and evaluate all product and ingredient samples for each project.

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate stability panel sessions end-to-end: sample prep, protocols, ballots, serving plans, timing

Ability to taste and evaluate all product and ingredient samples for each project

Set up and execution of panel evaluations

Follow defined sensory testing parameters; maintain strong GMPs

Lead calibration testing with the panel and stability scientists

Create concise, timely reporting and documentation

Foster agility through cross-training with other panel leaders

Partner with Medallion on customer calls, protocol set up in LIMS, invoicing, etc.

Receive samples and coordinate to get them placed into necessary conditions

Collaborate with team members, support Stability Scientists

Support special projects as needed

Requirements

2-year degree or high school diploma with 3-5 years of related experience

Computer/Technology skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint)

Comfortable in lab environment and leading panel sessions with 6-8 panelists

High attention to detail, strong organization and collaboration skills, and partnership mindset

Proactive and self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality work

Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to lift 50 lbs
