Essential Skills
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in electrical construction with exposure to project management or leadership responsibilities.

Job Description
The Electrical Project Manager leads and oversees commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical professional with hands-on managerial experience who is ready to take greater ownership across multiple projects and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented team.
Responsibilities
Manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction planning through final completion and closeout.
Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts to keep projects on track.
Coordinate closely with general contractors, owners, engineers, and field teams to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
Review drawings, specifications, and all project documents to identify scope, risks, constructability issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Oversee project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, change orders, and billing, to maintain profitability and financial accuracy.
Lead regular project meetings and provide consistent status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, regulations, and company procedures.
Support, guide, and mentor field staff, foremen, and junior project team members to promote professional growth and strong project performance.
Identify potential project issues early and resolve them proactively to maintain timelines, quality, and profitability.
Collaborate with estimation and project management teams to support accurate project planning and execution.
Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and partners to encourage repeat business and positive project outcomes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belmont, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $52.88/hr.
