Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOFGLSS) contract, located in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and complete modifications on various military vehicle and aircraft platforms in support of the warfighter. This program, critical to the success of US service men and women deployed throughout the world has a mission to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment anywhere in the world.

Basic Qualifications:

*Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.

*Experience with 3D parametric modeling in CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, or similar software.

*Experience with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

*Strong communication and presentation skills

Desired Skills:

*Experience with creation, review, and approval of engineering change documentation

*Experience working in an aerospace

environment.

*Experience with Catia V5, Creo, SolidWorks or

other 3D parametric modeling program.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
