Summary You will serve as a HR ASSISTANT (MIL) in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NVRECRUITNGCMD. Responsibilities You will serve as procedural authority reviewing and analyzing records and reports on a variety of cases, including officer applications, enlistments, commissioning, etc. You will perform complete review of records to ensure they are procedurally correct and that documentation is sufficient prior to final determination. You will identify gaps and inconsistencies in the record and initiate actions to obtain needed data. You will ensure all level if legal, medical, and administrative review have been completed. You will research and provide explanations and interpretations of rules, regulations, procedures, and requirements pertaining to actions taken or recommended. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating progress of various elements of assigned programs and recommending solutions to problems; 2) Regulating and operating procedures used in planning developing, analyzing, and evaluating program requirements; 3) Coordinating with supervisors and employees to obtain and deliver information regarding organizational missions, functions, and work procedures; AND 4) Interpreting and applying the rules regulations, and procedures related to the handling of various military programs and authorizations.
