The Boeing Company is looking for Software Systems Engineers ( Associate, Experienced, and Senior) to join the B-52H Software Sustainment Team located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma .
This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
Our team is responsible for the development of software requirements, performing analysis of 1553 bus data, writing detailed analysis reports, and providing support to the B-52H test team to ensure software meets requirements for use on the historic B-52H bomber aircraft as part of the overall process required to deliver safe, qualified, mission capable software to the United States Air Force.
Position Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains software systems requirements that meet industry, customer, and internal quality, safety, security and certification standards
Partners with appropriate stakeholders to inform system definition and translate decompose system-level requirements into software requirements that meet customer, operational, and performance requirements that have clear traceability to design, code and test artifacts
Completes software system-level analyses to identify risks, issues and opportunities; recommends mitigation actions throughout the software lifecycle
Monitors and reviews test completion, verification processes, and issue resolution for software systems, verifies test approaches verify requirements
Develops user documentation and training to educate end users about usage of software products
Reviews product and process for alignment with project plans and industry standards by tracking and evaluating internal team and supplier performance as applicable

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's Degree
Experience creating and documenting software architecture and designs
Experience with data analysis and/or data mining
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active United States Government Security Clearance - Secret or higher
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bombers experience (B-1, B-2, B-52)
2+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data; knowledge of, or experience with C++ code, ability to summarize and document findings and produce data analysis reports with fully developed data driven conclusions
2+ years of B-52 military experience or equivalent working with operational Link-16 and weapons data link networks; understanding of Link-16 architecture and messages; experience with weapons, POD, radio communications, navigation and radar operations

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Associate: $87,550 - $118,450
Summary pay range for Experienced: $109,650 - $148,350
Summary pay range for Senior: $137,700 - $186,300
