NOW HIRING: We are looking for a Remote Regional Sales Manager - West Region, to join our Transportation & Infrastructure Business Unit. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all facets of customer interaction and engagements with Millerbernd in a relationship-based sales role; engaging with general and electrical contractors, representatives and distributors, as well as State DOT's and other end users. Represents Millerbernd's growing brand within assigned regional territories, while ensuring strength of sales channels and go-to-market strategy for each market. Responsible for managing margins and budgets.
Location: Remote - This position requires the candidate to be located in the Greater Phoenix, Arizona

Key Accountabilities as a Regional Sales Manager:
Develop relationships at all levels in assigned markets
Achieve budgeted booking and profitability goals
Drive specifications into the market
Develop and maintain localized intelligence though field touches
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will:
Develop and maintain business with customers to enhance the potential for meeting the objectives of maximum profitability and growth through effective sales and service practices
Provide strategies and work closely with marketing regarding trade shows, marketing strategies, and engagement with industry events
In conjunction with VP Sales & Marketing, plan, organize, and adapt sales strategies specific to each market or territory
Drive specifications in to the market that align with our capabilities, capacities, and strategies
Ensure strong, effective market share of Millerbernd's products and services by providing direction and information on the products and related services
Analyze customer and competitive situations, customer's business issues and interests, and generate a strategy that will achieve business objectives
Keep well informed of industry changes, participates where possible in organizations directly involved with our prime markets, and continually works to improve sales techniques and team knowledge
Oversee development and sustainment of sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers through all levels of the organization
Generate market demand for Millerbernd's products in line with capacity and profitability
Expedite the resolution of customer issues/complaints
Travel up to 50% throughout USA
Role Qualifications as a Regional Sales Manager:
Preferred candidates will have five (5) or more years of experience with contractor or distribution sales, business to business sales or marketing, and/or business content development in a technical setting. Other combinations of formal training and experience may be considered.
Confident, driven, and dynamic, producing high-quality results with minimal amount of management or direction
Proficient in interpreting technical specifications and/or mechanical drawings
Must be able to handle multiple internal and external demands simultaneously
Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain negotiations, tactics, and ability to resolve tense situations
Use effective and appropriate written and oral communication skills both internally and externally, including; giving presentations, leading meetings, and providing business case scenarios

Adaptable to changing work priorities
Collaborative approach with others as part of a high-performance team
Confident user in MS Office applications, particularly using PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify sales channel and market opportunities
Efficient self-starter that is effective working remotely as necessary
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit/stand; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk short distances. On occasion, the employee may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. While on the production floor, all employees are required to wear company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
