What You'll Be Doing
You'll support customers through field service, installation support, and startups , while also providing remote technical troubleshooting when you're not on job sites.
Key responsibilities include:
Service, troubleshoot, and start up commercial and industrial HVAC/R and refrigeration systems
Travel to customer sites to support installations, startups, commissioning, and training
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues using gauges, meters, and testing equipment
Perform equipment startups, verify connections, energize systems, and confirm proper operation
Test refrigeration lines and components for leaks and system integrity
Adjust, repair, or replace compressors, condensers, valves, controls, and related components
Perform refrigerant reclaiming, system charging, and mechanical overhauls as required
Install electrical wiring and refrigeration piping in accordance with codes and specifications
Fabricate, assemble, and position refrigeration components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Provide technical support to customers via phone and email using schematics and documentation
Communicate clearly with customers, contractors, engineering, and internal service teams
Accurately document service activities, field issues, and resolutions in company systems
Survey job sites, identify concerns, and recommend corrective or improvement actions
Travel & Schedule
40-60% travel by air and ground transportation
Remote-based when not traveling - work from any U.S. state
Projects may include grocery, retail, and industrial refrigeration installations
Travel is planned and supported with per diem and incentives
Work hours vary by project, but the culture strongly supports work-life balance
What We're Looking For
Required:
3+ years of hands-on HVAC/R field service experience
Commercial or industrial refrigeration systems
EPA Universal Certification
Ability to read and interpret schematics, submittals, and technical documentation
Experience with installation, startup, and commissioning of HVAC/R equipment
Comfort working independently in the field and making sound technical decisions
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Valid Real ID-compliant driver's license or U.S. passport
Ability to perform physical work including lifting, climbing, drilling, and tool use
Minimum age of 21
Preferred:
Industrial refrigeration experience on large-scale systems
CO2 and/or glycol refrigeration system experience
Technical school or associate's degree in HVAC/R or related field
Journeyman, NATE, or similar certifications
Experience with PLC-based or automated refrigeration controls
Welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly experience

Work Environment
This is a field-focused role supporting refrigeration systems in active customer environments , including grocery and retail locations. Work may take place in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and equipment areas with varying conditions. Technicians use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, torches, gauges, and testing instruments. Proper PPE and safety procedures are always required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
Direct hire
ability to work remote from any US State (must be willing to travel to Pryor, OK for training/meetings)

$75/day per diem
$60k-$95k starting pay and offer relocation packages, sign on bonuses, per diem, and quarterly bonuses (up to extra $10,000)
Opportunity to work remote at some points (we've had techs hired and prove themselves, move to another state and work from home/travel from their citys airport to jobs.)
Relocation packages available (case by case)
up to $2500/quarter on travel incentives
