We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic General Staff members to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. Starting pay is $12.50/hour + Tips and moves to $13 + Tips once working independently. Like any position at Backstreet, there are opportunities for growth and advancement. This role is essential for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and maintaining operational efficiency. As a General Staff member, you will be involved in various aspects of food preparation, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace.

Duties

Prepare food and barista items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.

Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.

Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling protocols.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the caf or restaurant.

Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices are upheld at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred.
