Previous project management experience, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight.
Experience with substation projects and large-scale electrical infrastructure is highly beneficial.
Interest in long-term career growth within a stable facilities engineering environment.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with maintenance, facilities, utilities, and contractors.
Work Environment
This position is based at a corporate manufacturing campus in a hands-on facilities engineering environment that is not focused on direct production-line work. Typical hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent on office-based engineering tasks, such as design, planning, and project coordination, and about 30% of your time will be spent on the plant floor, engaging directly with infrastructure and equipment. Occasional off-hours availability is required to support electrical or infrastructure emergencies, typically no more than a couple of times per month. You will collaborate regularly with maintenance, facilities, utilities, and contractors, and you will gain exposure to large-scale electrical infrastructure and substation projects. The team environment is stable, with low turnover, strong institutional knowledge, and a well-established facilities group that supports long project timelines, thoughtful engineering, and long-term career development.
