Pay: $30.00/hour

Shift: 3rd Shift (Tuesday - Saturday | 1:00 AM - 9:15 AM)

Type: Contract (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

Position Overview

We are seeking a performance-driven Manufacturing Technician I to support production operations at Pitney Bowes. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial mechanical and electrical equipment

Maintain and support conveyor systems and automated sortation equipment

Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations

Perform preventative maintenance (PM) to reduce downtime

Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and service manuals

Maintain spare parts inventory and support work order systems

Perform repairs on:

Motors, belts, and pulley systems

Hydraulic and pneumatic components

Sensors, relays, solenoids, and switches

Use diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and electronic testing equipment

Support installation and setup of industrial equipment as needed

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing

Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Familiarity with conveyors, sortation systems, or automated equipment

Basic knowledge of PLC systems (preferred)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Basic computer skills (Windows-based systems)

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work around machinery and in an industrial environment

Work Environment

Industrial production facility

Exposure to moving machinery and mechanical equipment

PPE required as applicable
