Role summary:
The (USA) Director, Contracting - US leads strategic initiatives within healthcare contracting and enrollment, overseeing complex vendor relationships and contract negotiations to drive cost efficiencies and business growth. This role manages reporting strategies, analyzes market trends, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while collaborating with internal stakeholders to align contracting plans with organizational objectives. The position fosters continuous improvement in vendor management and supports the development of business cases for new partnerships, promoting operational excellence and delivering measurable value across contracting processes.
About the team:
The Payer Relations team oversees negotiation, monitoring, and assessment of contracts with PBM and Optical providers. This team manages complex vendor relationships, ensuring contract compliance and alignment with business strategies. They collaborate with internal stakeholders to address contracting issues, develop reporting strategies, and drive continuous improvements in vendor management. By analyzing industry trends and contract performance, the team supports informed decision-making to enhance operational efficiency and achieve financial goals. Their work is integral to maintaining strong partnerships and delivering value within the healthcare contracting landscape.
What you'll do:
Lead healthcare contracting and enrollment initiatives by managing complex projects and collaborating with sourcing managers to address resource constraints and deadlines.
Develop and implement reporting strategies, incorporating industry standards and localized data to measure program value and compliance.
Analyze contracts, spending patterns, and vendor performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement by promoting ethical standards, providing team guidance, and supporting workforce development and succession planning.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in contract management, including contract review and compliance within complex environments.
Proven ability to lead vendor management and negotiation processes to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Strong knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements impacting contracting and enrollment.
Expertise in developing and implementing business strategies aligned with organizational goals and financial objectives.
Demonstrated skill in stakeholder management, collaborating effectively across teams and with external partners.
Ability to analyze data trends, forecast scenarios, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines in a dynamic setting.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
