Job Title: Field Account Development Executive

Job Description
This role focuses on recruiting local businesses to join a new delivery partner program in Texas. You will work in the field and from home to identify prospective businesses, present the program, qualify applicants, guide them through the application process, and support community-based recruitment events. The position requires regular travel within a driving radius of up to two hours and offers uncapped commission based on the number of partners successfully onboarded.
Responsibilities
Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately 90 minutes driving distance to generate new leads.
Present and pitch the delivery partner program to prospective businesses in a clear, compelling manner to drive interest and applications.
Qualify prospective business partners based on program criteria and guide them through each step of the application process.
Track, update, and manage all lead and pipeline activity using Salesforce and other CRM tools to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up.
Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
Collaborate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals.
Import Excel spreadsheets and other data into Salesforce on a weekly basis to keep records current and organized.
Drive referrals and new opportunities through community organizations and local networks.
Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners by answering questions, resolving issues, and helping them navigate any challenges in the application process.
Maintain a high level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and urgency when working with business owners and community stakeholders.
Travel within a radius of up to four hours round trip daily as needed to cover your assigned territory and attend events.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
Proven outside or field sales experience, including door-to-door or territory sales.
CRM experience is required, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence customers or business decision-makers.
High level of professionalism, enthusiasm for working with others, and a strong sense of urgency.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.
Tech-savvy and comfortable working with multiple systems, spreadsheets, and digital tools.
Ability to travel up to four hours round trip daily within the assigned territory.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish for one position.
Bilingual proficiency in Hindi (Indian) for one position.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior field sales experience is a strong plus.
Previous experience in roles involving sales negotiations or customer persuasion is highly beneficial.
Comfort presenting to small groups at community events such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town halls.
Ability to build relationships with local organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the drive to exceed performance targets.
Comfort working independently in the field and collaboratively with a Field Manager and other local contractors.
Interest in last-mile delivery, logistics, or small business growth is a plus.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid field and remote role. You will spend 3-5 days per week in the field visiting local businesses, attending community events, and meeting with prospective partners across a territory that may require up to four hours of round-trip driving. When not in the field, you will work from home, using Salesforce and other digital tools to manage your pipeline, follow up with leads, and prepare for events. The role offers uncapped commission, with average annual commission potential in the range of $15,000 to $25,000 and the opportunity to exceed that based on performance. Commission is earned per partner converted, with separate amounts tied to key milestones, and additional monthly incentives are available for hitting goals. Mileage is reimbursed at a set rate per mile driven for work-related travel. After six months of successful performance, you are eligible for paid time off. The work involves frequent driving, in-person business visits, and participation in community-based events, requiring a professional appearance and demeanor when representing the program to local businesses and organizations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
