KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\ \

Assist in monitoring security alerts and incidents using tools such

as SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint protection platforms.

Help perform vulnerability scans and assist in the analysis of

results.

Support user access reviews and identity and access management

processes.

Contribute to documentation of security processes, incident response

playbooks, and training materials.

Participate in internal security audits, policy reviews, and

compliance efforts.

Research emerging threats, attack trends, and security best

practices.

Attend team meetings and contribute to collaborative security

projects.

QUALIFICATIONS\ \

Required:\ \

Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science,

Information Technology, or related field.

Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., firewalls,

malware, phishing, encryption).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Curiosity, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.

Preferred (Not Required):\ \

Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking

basics, or scripting (PowerShell, Python).

Previous coursework, labs, or personal projects related to

information security

Interest in pursuing certifications such as Security+, CEH, or SSCP

Learning Outcomes:\ \

Gain hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity tools and

processes.

Develop foundational skills in security monitoring, incident

response, and vulnerability management.

Understand real-world security policies, compliance standards, and

risk management frameworks.

Build professional experience and industry exposure for a future

career in information security.
