Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Sales Administrator to join a field services organization in the Oil & Gas industry in Houston, Texas. This is a Contract position expected to run for 3 months with the possibility of extension, supporting the sales team through accurate documentation, coordination, and reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative experience, excellent organizational ability, and confidence using Microsoft Office to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8 am - 12 pm

Responsibilities:

Set up new job records, enter associated costs, and compile the information coordinators need to keep projects moving efficiently.

Update job-related details in internal platforms and help ensure records remain current and complete throughout each assignment.

Review daily and final field cost reports for accuracy against quoted sales information, then route approved documentation to Accounting for invoicing.

Track third-party invoices and support service billing activities with careful attention to completeness and timing.

Maintain electronic well files and confirm that each file contains the required documentation by the close of the job.

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales team and Coordinators, helping maintain smooth communication and workflow.

Contribute to cross-functional projects and assist other departments when workload allows.

Follow company policies, quality standards, and established work instructions while carrying out assigned duties.

Requirements - 1-3+ years of experience in an administrative, office support, or sales support role.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage records, data, and documentation accurately.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Effective verbal and written communication skills for working across teams.

Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Solid time-management skills and the ability to prioritize changing responsibilities effectively.

Experience with order entry, post-sales support, or systems such as SAP is an asset. TalentMatch®
