As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in San Marcos, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post calls for professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while supporting daily operations with an agile, reliable, and people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help observe customer and employee activity, report suspicious behavior, and support loss prevention efforts as directed by the location.

Complete required reports and document incidents, observations, and/or response actions while communicating with local management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
