About the Role

As aConstructionLaborer, youll play a vital role in a wide range ofconstructionandpaving projects. What You\'ll Do

Champion a safe work environment by rigorously following all safety

policies, procedures,andprotocolsyour safetyandthat of your team is our top priority.

Follow all companies, OSHA,andMSHA regulations for safeandcompliant

job execution,andpromptly report any issues to leadership or safety personnel.

Support theconstructionandpaving crews with hands-on tasks such as

shoveling, raking, operating a wheelbarrow,anddirecting trucks for safeandprecise operations.

Communicate with equipment operators to ensure seamless

movementandalignment of materials using hand signalsandtools.

Execute daily tasks as directed by your Foreman, adapting quickly to

the ever-changing demands of the project.

Operate small power tools (e.g., jackhammers) as needed, improving

your technical skill set on the job.

Dig, spread,andlevelconstructionmaterials for optimal project

results.

Moveandhandle materials, tools,andsupplies with careandefficiency.

Install, relocate,andremove traffic control devices such as signs,

barricades,andcones to keep work zones safe.

Maintain consistentandreliable attendanceyour presence makes a

difference.

Take on additional responsibilities as assignedno two days are ever

the same.

What You Bring

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous experience inconstructionis a plus but not requiredyour

attitudeandwork ethic matter most.

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug

screening,andbackground check.

Commitment to following all safety requirements,

procedures,andwearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as neededyour healthandsafety come first.

Flexibility to travel, work nights, weekends,andoutside of your

local area when the job requires it.

Knowledge ofconstructionmaterials, methods,andtools is helpful;

willingness to learn is essential.

Ability to read, write,andperform basic math.

Strong verbalandwritten communication skills.

Physical ability to regularly stand, walk, lift (up to 50

lbs),andperform manual tasks in all weatherandworking conditions.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.

Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.

Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed.

Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.

Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.

Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
