Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker supports efficient warehouse and production operations by accurately picking and preparing orders for shipment, assisting with light inventory control, and helping assemble pre-fabricated doors according to work order specifications. This role requires consistent use of RF scanners, material handling equipment, and hand and power tools in a wood working shop environment, along with the ability to read measurements precisely and lift up to 60 pounds as needed.
Responsibilities
Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
Use RF scanners to locate, pick, and confirm all products for shipping orders.
Allocate and organize product within the warehouse to maintain proper stock placement.
Perform light inventory control, including counting, tracking, and reporting inventory levels.
Band, wrap, or palletize products as needed to prepare them for safe transport.
Help assemble pre-fabricated doors to meet detailed work order specifications.
Read a tape measure accurately and consistently to 1/16 of an inch to ensure precise cuts and assemblies.
Prepare finished orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly packaged, labeled, and staged.
Lift, move, and manipulate materials and products weighing up to 60 pounds as needed.
Handle materials safely and maintain a clean, organized work area in the warehouse and wood working shop.
Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, when required and if qualified.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping schedules.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
At least 3 years of steady employment demonstrating reliability and consistent work history.
Experience using RF scanners for picking and inventory-related tasks.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, saws, and other power and pneumatic tools.
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately to 1/16 of an inch.
Ability to regularly lift, move, and manipulate up to 60 pounds.
Experience with picking, packaging, and general warehouse operations.
Material handling experience, including moving, staging, and organizing products.
Basic shipping and receiving experience.
Ability to follow written work orders and safety procedures in a production environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift experience or familiarity with operating warehouse equipment.
Assembly experience, particularly in a production or manufacturing setting.
Inventory experience, including counting and tracking stock.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and precise measurements.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills to coordinate with warehouse and production team members.

Work Environment
This role is based in a wood working shop and warehouse environment focused on building and preparing doors for shipment. The setting includes active production areas with wood materials, assembly stations, and storage racks. Work is physically active, requiring frequent standing, walking, lifting, and moving products up to 60 pounds. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belgrade, MT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
