Summary You will serve as a Corporate Performance Metrics Specialist in the Business and Strategic Planning Office, Program Planning and Review Division of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will develop performance metrics for all availabilities at all shipyards. You will provide management guidance/direction to senior shipyard managers in matters concerning availability performance. You will Provide assistance to other shipyards in interpreting and understanding the various metrics and provide recommendations to management on actions necessary to turn around negative trends. You will assist in the development of training for all levels of management. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying knowledge of scheduling methods and techniques. Experience with ADP systems in an industrial environment using production control systems. Experience in the use of manpower, machines and materials in various shipyard operations. Experience with skill in the application of theories, principles, methodologies and techniques of cost and schedule control, Critical Path Management, Critical Chain Project Management and Project Management. FOR GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
