We are hiring a Marketing Technology & Operations Lead to support a growing insurance organization as it strengthens and scales its marketing systems, data, and performance measurement capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, data, and technology, with a strong focus on improving how marketing data is collected, governed, reported, and activated to drive smarter business decisions.
This position plays a critical role in evolving the marketing technology ecosystem-ensuring reliable reporting, enabling advanced measurement, and improving cross-functional execution with Marketing, IT, Data, and Product teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and excited to build more efficient, scalable systems while influencing how marketing operates.
This is a hybrid role based in Omaha, Nebraska, working onsite with a collaborative marketing team.
Key Project Initiatives & Impact
The candidate in this role will make a direct impact by:
Strengthening the integrity, accuracy, and governance of marketing data across platforms
Advancing a centralized marketing data environment, including readiness for data warehouses and customer data platforms (CDPs)
Improving the flow of conversion and performance data into marketing and analytics tools
Enabling trusted, automated reporting to support executive-level visibility and decision-making
Supporting advanced measurement initiatives such as attribution, lifetime value, and forecasting
Establishing structured CRO and testing frameworks to improve website and landing page performance
Improving how marketing work is scoped, prioritized, and delivered within cross-functional sprint cycles
Helping scale the team's ability to use data effectively through documentation, process improvement, and light people leadership
Job Responsibilities
Marketing Data, Infrastructure & Governance
Own marketing data accuracy, tracking, tagging, and governance across systems
Partner with IT, Data, and Product teams to strengthen marketing data infrastructure
Monitor and help resolve data quality issues through improved processes and alerting
Support the evolution toward centralized marketing data and improved API-based data flows
Reporting, Analytics & Measurement Enablement
Build and scale automated reporting dashboards (e.g., PowerBI)
Ensure consistent KPI definitions and measurement across channels and platforms
Translate marketing performance insights into actionable recommendations
Support advancement of attribution, LTV, and forecasting methodologies
Cross-Functional Operations & Project Leadership
Act as the primary marketing representative in cross-functional prioritization
Improve how marketing initiatives are planned, scoped, and executed
Identify and resolve operational gaps to increase speed and accountability
CRO & Testing Enablement
Partner with marketing teams to prioritize website and landing page optimization
Establish structured experimentation and testing processes
Ensure tracking frameworks accurately measure experiment results
Team Support & Growth
Provide guidance and direction to a future Marketing Analyst
Improve overall data literacy and decision-making within the marketing team
Contribute to scalable documentation and best practices
Innovation & Future Capabilities
Stay informed on emerging marketing and analytics technologies, including AI
Evaluate and recommend improvements to the marketing technology stack
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or marketing analytics
Strong marketing background with experience supporting digital marketing performance
Exposure to SQL and/or Python (ability to read and understand code; writing not required)
Experience working with Salesforce and marketing platforms
Working knowledge of marketing tracking and tagging (e.g., GA4, GTM)
Familiarity with data environments such as data warehouses and BI tools (PowerBI preferred)
Experience partnering with technical and data teams (IT, Data, Product)
Understanding of advanced measurement approaches (attribution, MMM, forecasting, predictive models)
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
