Description

We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to provide legal support for a medical manufacturing company on a Contract basis. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in corporate litigation along with practical exposure to broader in-house legal work, including employment and commercial agreement review.

Responsibilities:

Direct and coordinate ongoing litigation matters affecting the business, with particular attention to disputes involving product liability.

Advise company leadership on employment-related legal issues and help address workplace matters in a timely, compliant manner.

Examine, interpret, and revise contracts to support business objectives while reducing legal and commercial risk.

Partner with internal stakeholders to assess legal exposure and recommend practical courses of action aligned with company priorities.

Oversee outside counsel activity when needed and help ensure legal matters are managed efficiently and strategically.

Provide day-to-day in-house legal guidance across a range of corporate matters during the contract assignment.

Requirements

Significant experience handling litigation in an in-house legal environment required.

Demonstrated knowledge of product liability matters and the ability to manage related claims effectively.

Working experience advising on employment law issues affecting business operations.

Strong contract review and drafting skills with sound legal judgment.

Background that includes both litigation and corporate legal responsibilities is strongly preferred.

Ability to work independently in a short-term Contract role and quickly adapt to business needs.
