Summary You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the PUBLIC WORKS division of MCLB ALBANY GA. Responsibilities You will be responsible for providing expert mechanic engineering support as well as coordinating civil, structural, and electrical engineering services for installation construction projects and mission work. You will be responsible for managing maintenance, repair, and minor construction of real property facilities. You will be responsible for solving engineering problems by designing and/or modifying facilities, structures, and equipment. You will be responsible for serving as advisor and consultant on mechanical engineering problems through the Public Works Officer to the Installation Commander and other installation activities. You will be responsible for providing expert mechanic engineering support as well as coordinating civil, structural, and electrical engineering services for installation construction projects and mission work. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in mechanical engineering support, coordinating civil, structural, electrical engineering services for installation construction projects/mission work AND evaluating complex maintenance, repair needs, and producing technical reports. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
