The Job
Ensure safety of employees via active safety culture management, policy enforcement, and assisting in developing improvements to our business.
Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the department's mission in an effective and efficient manner.
Plans and coordinates work by performing time studies, cost analysis, proto@type builds or other means as necessary.
Trains and motivates; monitors and evaluates performance of associates in the department
Ensures ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations.
Develops Team Leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned associates
Monitors, measures, and documents department performance for cost, labor, and productivity requirements.
Working with the Human Resources Department, selecting employees through the normal hiring process, administer policies and procedures as applicable, monitor employee. performance/attendance/time, resolve associate relation issues, coach and counsel for improvement and apply discipline where necessary up to and including termination of employment.
The Person
Bachelor's Degree Required
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting and minimum 1-2 years' leadership experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with inventory or warehouse software, databases, and other systems including SAP and WMS, preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, and the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
High degree of credibility and integrity
