Why Work Here?
You join a regional operation that values safety, organization, and thorough training, especially around handling high-value materials. The company offers a structured onboarding period with safety and equipment training, along with opportunities to build specialized skills in inspecting and handling stone slabs. You work in a smaller team environment where your contributions are visible and where clean, well-organized facilities support your daily work. The schedule provides predictable daytime hours during the week, with occasional Saturday shifts balanced by the option to take a weekday off when needed.
Work Environment
The role is based in a very clean, organized warehouse with approximately 20 employees, within a regional company setting. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturday shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., offset by the ability to take a weekday off when a Saturday is worked. The position is full-time on-site, with no guaranteed overtime during the contract period and no overtime allowed until conversion to a direct employee. You work around granite and marble slabs, using equipment such as sit-down forklifts, boom and clamp attachments, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. The facility emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, and the first week typically includes 3-4 days of safety training, internal modules, and lighter warehouse tasks such as unloading/loading boxes and general cleanup.
