Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
This full-time Warehouse Associate role involves working in a clean, organized warehouse environment to support order fulfillment and material handling operations. You will pull and stock orders, move and inspect granite and marble slabs using forklifts and specialized attachments, and load products onto trucks for delivery to various locations. The position requires consistent, safe handling of heavy materials and careful inspection of stone products to prevent damage and ensure a safe workplace.
Responsibilities
Pull and prepare customer orders accurately, including picking, packing, and staging materials for shipment.
Stock incoming materials in the appropriate warehouse locations and maintain organized inventory storage.
Move granite and marble slabs using a forklift with boom and clamp attachments, following all safety procedures.
Load products, including stone slabs and other materials, onto trucks for delivery to different locations.
Lift and handle materials weighing up to 70 lbs, including placing granite slabs onto pallets.
Perform unloading and loading of boxes and materials from trucks and containers as needed.
Inspect marble and granite slabs carefully before moving them to identify cracks, defects, or safety concerns.
Complete required safety and training modules during the initial contract period, including site-specific procedures.
Assist with general warehouse upkeep, such as cleaning, organizing, and removing wood, plastic, and other debris.
Use RF scanners to pick, pack, and track inventory accurately.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
Support shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments, labeling, and documenting inventory movements.
Participate in inventory tasks such as cycle counts and stock checks to maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
Provide customer service-oriented support when interacting with internal teams, drivers, or visitors to the warehouse.
Follow all safety guidelines and best practices to minimize risk when handling heavy stone materials.
Essential Skills
At least 2-3 years of experience working in a warehouse facility.
Forklift experience, including safe operation in a warehouse environment.
Ability to lift and handle up to 70 lbs on a regular basis.
Experience with order picking, packing, and material handling.
Experience in shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading trucks.
Familiarity with warehouse inventory processes such as order picking and stock replenishment.
Ability to operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack safely.
Experience using RF scanners to pick orders and track inventory.
Strong attention to detail when inspecting materials, especially fragile or heavy items.
Customer service-oriented approach when supporting internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with granite, marble, or other stone products is a plus.
Comfort learning detailed inspection techniques for marble and granite slabs.
Ability to complete safety and company-specific training modules promptly.
Experience performing cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Strong organizational skills and ability to keep work areas clean and orderly.
Willingness to receive additional forklift training during the contract period.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a small warehouse team.

Work Environment
The role is based in a very clean, organized warehouse with a team of around 20 employees in a regional operation. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturday shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., offset by a weekday off when a Saturday is worked. The position is full-time on-site, with guaranteed 40-hour weeks but no overtime during the contract period. You will work around granite and marble slabs and other building materials, using equipment such as sit-down forklifts, boom and clamp attachments, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. The environment emphasizes safety and training, especially in the first week, which includes 3-4 days of safety modules, company training, and light warehouse tasks such as unloading/loading boxes and general cleanup. Dress is typical for a warehouse setting, suitable for manual material handling and safe operation of equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
