The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join the Industrial Security team supporting the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) team in Seal Beach, CA.

The selected candidate will be an individual contributor and subject matter expert responsible for executing internal security controls, leading compliance assessments, and managing complex security programs. This role requires strong technical expertise and leadership in protecting people, property, and information across large and/or complex programs.

Position Responsibilities:

Execute internal security controls through compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure adherence to government and company regulations/requirements

Identify security deficiencies, develop, and implement corrective action plans

Communicate assessment and investigation results to security management and customers

Conduct administrative inquiries on personnel, processes, and situations per established procedures to determine non-compliance scope

Perform Communication Security (COMSEC) duties including inventory, distribution, and destruction in compliance with government regulations

Protect government, intellectual property, third-party, and company information from unauthorized disclosures

Develop, implement, and administer operational security programs, security education, procedures, and physical controls for large and/or complex programs

Lead and perform personnel security team activities to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirements

Establish and implement security awareness training and education programs to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel

Perform physical security duties within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations

Manage subcontractor security compliance to meet government regulations/requirements

Participate, as requested, in enterprise Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years

5+ years of experience in government or industrial security programs

Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP) access

Willing to travel 20% of the time or more as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience applying AI/ML to automate security compliance, threat detection, or process optimization

Experience with MS Office and security analytics tools

Pay & Benefits:

The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $119,000 - $161,000

A Signing Bonus may be offered to qualified candidates.
