JOB DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, coordinate the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies that support HMFA'sgrowth initiatives; coordinate all activities related to the development and enhancement of HMFA's websites, including, but notlimited to, njhousing.gov, njhrc.gov, and other program-specific websites; coordinate the Agency's B2B (Business to Business)and B2C (Business to Consumer) email and social media marketing campaigns through message composition, list/channelmanagement, and subsequent analytics reporting; adapt program language and collateral into a format appropriate for use on theweb; maintain the Agency's digital photography archive, including image acquisition, color correction, keywording and otherassociated duties; support Marketing and Communications by proactively researching digital marketing and training solutions; actas liaison between HMFA and the State of New Jersey's Office of Information Technology (NJ OIT). Perform related duties asrequired.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate the development and enhancement of the HMFA digital marketing and communications channels includingbut not limited to: a. HMFA and program websites b. B2B and B2C email and social media campaigns. c. Digital photography archive
Coordinate the development and implementation of Agency digital marketing strategies to achieve program goals,reporting on progress and identifying areas for expansion and improvement.
Administer and maintain the Agency's social media outlets, including but not limited to, LinkedIn and Facebook toprotect the agency from any outside interference. Assist in the implementation of the Agency's social media policy.Divisional liaison to Division Directors to regularly create and schedule content updates
Research other social media outlets (SnapChat, Twitter, etc.) as potential distribution channels for the Agency,providing efficacy, ROI and audience analyses and recommendations.
Create and edit complex organizational messaging and ensure consistency and compliance across print and webpromotional materials. Responsibilities include developing new content and adapting existing long-form content fordistribution on the web.
Collaborate with NJ OIT to enhance the Agency's Website ensuring it is mobile compatible and in compliance with theState of New Jersey's Website Standards and Guidelines. Report any issues and/or non-compliance to management.
Analyze the effectiveness of digital campaigns and online content using marketing analytics tools, report results andmake recommendations for improvement. Discuss and/or submit recommendations to management for review.
Coordinate and provide support to other marketing and communications programs as requested.
Maintain the Marketing and Communications' Division's digital photography archives, including image acquisition,color requisition, keywording and other associated duties, using the Adobe CC Suite.
Perform special projects and related duties within the designated timeframe as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education / Experience :
Four (4) year college degree; five (5) years of related experience in digital communications/marketing, graphic and publicationdesign, web design, writing; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which meets the required knowledge,skills and abilities. Experience in the housing industry a plus.
Skills:
Knowledge of the design standards and marketing objectives for the Agency as well as internal objectives for newdesign products.- Knowledge of digital photography.- Knowledge of HMFA mission, programs and procedures.- Knowledge of program planning, implementation and marketing methodology.- Knowledge of web and graphic design software (Adobe CC Suite).- Knowledge of hand-coding HTML and working knowledge of content management system software (TeamSite).- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) including graphing, desktop publishing, HTMLand graphics.- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.- Ability to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of HMFA programs.- Ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing and to listen attentively.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Ability to analyze information and make appropriate recommendations.- Ability to organize and accomplish multiple assignments simultaneously.- Ability to prepare accurate, concise and informative reports.- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the general public.- Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere in an appropriate manner of behavior which ensures cooperation andeffective communication with customers, clients, peers and management.

Working Conditions: General office environment; some travel is required for outreach events.
Certificates & Licenses Required: A vaild driver's license in the state in which the person resides is required only if the operation of a vechicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the ssential duties of the position.
