OVERVIEW:
The HR Analyst performs a variety of professional administrative tasks and organizes information with Encore Electric's HRIS (UKG) to support the Human Resources Business Partner team.
Compensation for this role: $34.00 to $37.00 per hour depending on experience

Specific Responsibilities
Operational HR Processing
Push new hires into UKG each week, including processing E-Verify
Manage weekly payroll changes in HRIS and communicate updates to Payroll in accordance with established procedures
Administer and support the performance review process as directed, including apprentice self-reviews, ensuring consistency, compliance, and equitable application across the organization with direction from HRBPs
Ensure apprentice job titles are accurate by conducting periodic audits and processing title updates
Lead the annual I-9 audit, identifying risks, ensuring corrective action, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
Collect employee relations data and deliver to HR Business Partners
Data and Reporting
Design, build, and maintain standard and ad hoc reports from the HRIS (UKG) to support the human resources business partner (HRBP) team
Produce recurring reports, dashboards and metrics in key people areas including:
Onboarding and new-hire trends
Performance management cycles and completion rates
Attendance, absences, and pattern identification
Promotions, internal movement, and workforce progression
Turnover analysis (voluntary/involuntary, trends, themes)
Translate raw HR data into clear, actionable insights that help HRBPs operate more efficiently and proactively
Partner with HRBPs to identify reporting needs and continuously improve data outputs based on business questions and priorities
Data Integrity and Validation
Validate data accuracy across UKG reports, ensuring consistency, completeness, and reliability before distribution
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, partnering with HR team members as needed to correct upstream data issues
Establish data quality checks and controls to support reliable trend analysis and decision-making
Process and Procedure Development
Create and maintain documented procedures for recurring HR reports, data pulls, and analysis processes to ensure consistency and continuity
Standardize reporting methods to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency for the HR Business Partner team
Identify opportunities to automate or streamline reporting workflows within UKG and Excel
Analytical Support and Insights
Analyze trends and themes in HR data and provide concise summaries that help Business Partners anticipate risks, hotspots, or improvement opportunities
Support leadership and HR team requests with timely, data-driven analysis that informs workforce planning and employee experience initiatives
Develop meaningful visuals, summaries, and talking points to support HRBP conversations with leaders
Tools, Skills and Self-Management
Leverage advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, charts) to analyze and present HR data efficiently
Demonstrate strong organization and time-management skills to manage multiple reporting requests and deadlines
Operate as a self-starter who takes ownership of data, asks thoughtful questions, and seeks opportunities to add value
Possess a high level of integrity; ability to maintain highly confidential information
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues
General Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with HR team members to align reporting with HR programs, policies, and operational needs
Serve as extra hands to HR team when needed

REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires at least two years experience in Human Resources as well as a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related degree. Experience in UKG strongly preferred.
