Description

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Greater Worcester County area. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing customer interactions and ensuring seamless order processing to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Process customer orders accurately through data entry and maintain order records.

Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on orders.

Coordinate scheduling with transportation carriers to ensure timely shipping and delivery.

Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant teams to manage substitutions and revisions.

Serve as a liaison between warehouse staff, sales teams, and management to address pricing, inventory, and customer concerns.

Interact with external carriers to confirm load availability and coordinate customer pickups.

Maintain and update customer databases to manage advanced shipping notices and routing requests.

Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Facilitate customer satisfaction by responding to feedback and implementing solutions to improve processes.

Requirements

At least 3 years of customer service experience in a related field.

Familiarity with inventory control and truck scheduling is highly preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to perform under pressure.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
