Overview

The Department of Buildings & General Services (BGS) is looking for a dependable and motivated Institutional Custodian to join our team at the River Valley Therapeutic Residence in a modern, residential-style facility in a quiet country setting.

This role will play a key part in keeping the facility safe, clean, and welcoming by providing custodial services and assisting with grounds maintenance. You will work independently and as part of a team in a peaceful, supportive environment that values your contributions.

This position will work Tuesday through Saturday, 12pm to 8:30pm.A valid driver\'s license and successful completion of multiple background checks are required.

This position is eligible for a sign-on and retention bonus of up to \$1000! Only new hires employed by BGS as a BGS Institutional Custodian in the location specified in this job posting are eligible for this bonus program. Environmental Factors

Duties are performed in a hospital or rehabilitation environment, including office, classroom, and patient care settings. Direct interaction with patients or residents may be extensive, leading to potential exposure to infectious disease or physical injury. Duties may, at times, extend beyond the normal daytime and work week hours. Must be able to work outdoors in all @types of weather. Good physical condition and ability to climb ladders and lift heavy weights and equipment (up to 60 lbs.) is necessary. Some overtime may be required.
