REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Operations Finance - Reporting & Insights in Winston-Salem
This role plays a critical leadership function within Operations Finance, acting as the custodian of Cost of Sales across all U.S. product categories. The position consolidates cost data, drives insights, manages senior-level stakeholder communication, and ensures accurate forecasting and reporting. It is considered a pipeline role for Director-level progression and requires both strong technical costing expertise and exceptional agility, communication, and influence skills.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Serve as the owner and consolidator of Cost of Sales across all U.S. categories, ensuring accuracy of manufacturing, leaf, materials, and logistics costs.
Lead monthly reporting cycles, providing clear narrative and insights to Commercial Finance, Corporate Finance (CPNA), and Global teams.
Manage end-to-end forecasting processes, ensuring timely input collection from multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
Analyze cost trends, risks, sensitivities, variances, and drivers-offering recommendations to optimize profitability.
Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, translating highly technical costing information into concise, executive-level insights.
Oversee the integration of cost impacts related to new capacities, export flows (e.g., DORO), and cost-center allocations.
Supervise and develop two direct reports (grade 34 analysts / managers).
Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, Excel-based models, and SAP-based costing assessments.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance, Cost Accounting, Production/Manufacturing Finance, FP&A, or Controlling.
Strong technical expertise in costing (manufacturing cost, leaf, materials, logistics allocation, etc.).
Advanced Excel proficiency and working knowledge of SAP (SIP).
Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder networks and influence cross-functional teams with tight deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills-ability to elevate insights to executive audiences and challenge technical inputs where needed.
High learning agility, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated experience synthesizing data into insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and performance.
