Data Governance & Analytics Specialist - DLA Warehouse Utilization

Remote | Periodic Travel Required | Secret Clearance

D&G is seeking a seasoned data professional to support the Defense Logistics Agency Warehouse Utilization initiative within the Supply, Storage, and Distribution portfolio. This role supports enterprise data governance, analytics, and integration efforts designed to improve supply chain visibility, operational efficiency, and decision-making across DLA Distribution.

This position is ideal for someone who understands DLA data environments, procurement and supply chain analytics, and enterprise governance frameworks, and who can translate complex operational challenges into measurable data-driven improvements.

What You Will Do

Provide expertise on a variety of topics in support of DLA SS&D activities to include Warehouse Utilization (WU).

Provide analytical, data management and governance support in determining technical issues associated with improvements in capabilities needed by DLA Distribution.

Assist in the development of technical, data management and governance strategies, plans, approaches, and procedures for determining DLA SS&D Program projects.

Assist in researching and gathering information on the latest technologies and data management practices including procurement analytics, enterprise data transformation.

Develop required technical expertise and maintain awareness of the DLA SS&D programs through participation in meetings, teleconferences, and site visits in conjunction with the DLA Warehouse Utilization initiative.

Assist in the development of documentation such as technical briefings, charters, transition plans, technical evaluations, data management in support of DLA SS&D.

Assist in efforts to improve data management, particularly in developing strategies to ensure data integrity, quality, and interoperability across procurement platforms with DLA partners, and facilitate the exchange of engineering and logistical information among DLA industry partners and customers.

Assist with establishing data management, integration, and governance of DLA supply chains with a heavy focus on improving problem areas in existing DLA systems, reviewing technical reports, written minutes of meetings, and strategic recommendations and shall coordinate with DLA Distribution.

Participate in conferences, seminars, and meetings relating to the sustainment of the DLA WU program.

Assist the PMs with developing and maintaining short- and long-term strategies and project road maps.

Leverage expertise and lessons learned during development of task requirements and implementation of program plans and the activities listed above.

What We Are Looking For

Required:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, engineering, operations research, mathematics, public policy, science, or related discipline

Minimum ten years of experience supporting DLA or DoD data management, procurement analytics, supply chain analytics, or enterprise data governance

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with large complex data management systems

Extensive experience with analytics tools; Power BI, SQL, SAS, Qlik,

Strong analytical and research skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Ability to meet critical deadlines and solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment

Clearance and Eligibility

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Restricted to U.S. persons as defined under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)

Location

Remote with periodic travel in support of DLA initiatives
