Job Title: Field Sales Representative - Delivery Partner Program (Indiana)

Job Description
This role focuses on recruiting local businesses to join a new delivery partner program in your area. You will visit prospective businesses, present the program, qualify interested partners, and guide them through the application process while managing your pipeline in Salesforce. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to drive sign-ups through door-to-door outreach, community events, and partnerships with local organizations. The position involves regular travel of up to a two-hour driving distance and offers uncapped commission based on each partner you successfully convert.
Responsibilities
Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance.
Present and pitch the new delivery partner program to prospective businesses and generate interest in applying.
Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application process.
Lead and track all sales and outreach activity, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date pipeline in Salesforce.
Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and awareness.
Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
Drive referrals through community organizations and local networks to expand the pool of prospective business partners.
Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners by answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping them navigate the onboarding process.
Proactively identify and resolve issues that applicants encounter in the field, ensuring a smooth experience from first contact through launch.
Communicate professionally and consistently with the broader team to share updates, insights, and feedback from the field.
Essential Skills
1-2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
Proven outside or field sales experience.
CRM experience required, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
Strong sales aptitude with the ability to pitch, persuade, and close prospective business partners.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
Ability to manage and update a sales pipeline accurately within Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
Ability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip daily to visit targeted towns and businesses.
High sense of urgency, professionalism, and enthusiasm for working with others.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.
Tech savvy, with experience working across multiple systems and technologies, including Excel and CRM platforms.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in roles that involve sales and/or negotiation with customers.
Field sales experience is a strong plus.
Experience hosting or supporting events such as lunch-and-learn sessions or town hall meetings.
Comfort working with community organizations, chambers of commerce, and economic development associations.
Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with a remote Field Manager and local team members.
Motivation to work in a performance-driven environment with uncapped commission opportunities.
Strong organizational skills to manage weekly data imports and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
Work Environment
This is a primarily field-based role, with approximately 3-4 days per week spent on the road visiting prospective businesses and attending local events, and the remaining time working from home. You will travel within an approximate two-hour driving radius, with the ability to drive up to four hours round trip in a day. Work involves frequent in-person interactions with business owners and community organizations, supported by regular use of Salesforce, Excel, and other digital tools. The role is performance-driven and offers uncapped commission opportunities, along with mileage reimbursement and a monthly phone allowance. After a successful six-month performance review, you become eligible for paid time off. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
