Summary You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INET) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT of EWTGLANT. Responsibilities You will manage the command NMCI/NGEN program. You will use the NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) tool to track orders and approve invoices. You will identify problems and potential problem areas based on daily observance or studies. You will communicate with a range of personnel to establish and track proper operating procedures and compliance. You will track a variety of contractor taskings through automated systems. You will be the point of contact for managing cryptographic keys and keying material. You will serve as the Primary Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) Manager. You will load and manage cryptographic keys on a variety of key delivery systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Responding to system shutdowns, interruptions, failures and analyzes problems, to determine reasons and affects repair. To qualify for the INFORMATION TECHNOLOLGY SPECIALIST (INET), GS-2210-11, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in managing assets and services within a large-scale enterprise network environment like NMCI/NGEN required. Experience generating task orders, managing asset inventories, coordinating software and hardware refreshments, managing profiles, and processing moves, adds, or changes is required. Experience handling or serving as an alternate for an Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) account. Experience retrieving, issuing, safeguarding, and destroying cryptographic keys; performing required inventories of keys and Cryptographic Controlled Items (CCI); and ensuring compliance with national and DoD COMSEC policies required. Experience developing and maintaining websites on platforms such as SharePoint or Collaboration at Sea (CAS). Experience controlling user permissions, coordinating content updates, ensuring security and accessibility standards are met, and coordinating with hosting providers is required. Experience directing telecommunications assets, including landlines and cellular phones. Experience coordinating service delivery, resolving billing discrepancies, and troubleshooting user issues across a multi-faceted phone system is required. Experience providing mentorship and guidance to other members of the Information Systems Management Office in the management and execution of IT related requirements. Experience preparing required reports and analysis and effectively communicate findings to departmental leadership.
