Summary You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Weapons & Energetics R&D Dept., of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will negotiate and administer contracts and orders between the Government and contractors from receipt of requirement through physical and financial completion. You will review purchase requests for technical and administrative adequacy. You will prepare pre-award documentation and solicits contractor offers. You will evaluate offers, negotiate, and prepare contract award documents. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Developing, executing, and administrating contracts in support of a range of supplies and services; and 2) Applying contract policy during the solicitation, negotiation, administration, and termination of contracts.
