What's a typical day as an Accounts Payable Associate ? You'll be:
Maintaining and processing accounts payable and accounting transactions, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting.
Developing strong expertise in the accounts payable system, ERP tools, and related data management resources.
Performing assigned duties accurately and efficiently, managing multiple priorities with limited direction from the Accounting Manager.
Reconciling complex accounts, identifying discrepancies, and taking corrective action as needed.
Assisting with month-end close activities, preparing financial exhibits, reports, and supporting documentation.
Researching and processing complex transactions, including customer maintenance requests and accounting journal entries.
Communicating effectively with team members, internal partners, customers, and suppliers to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer service.
Supporting teammates by sharing knowledge and assisting with data management systems.
Staying current on technology, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have a technical degree, apprenticeship (1-2 years), or equivalent experience in Business/Management or Accounting/Finance.
Bring 4-7 years of related experience in accounting, finance, audit, or clerical roles.
Possess a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, accounts payable/receivable, and budgets.
Can independently use Microsoft Office and various department-specific computer programs.
Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Are a team player with excellent communication skills who thrives in a collaborative environment and supports shared goals.
