Paid Training: Aerospace Metal Fabricator (Entry-Level Welcome!)

Location: Auburn, WA

Pay: $20-$22

Contract: Contract to Hire 3 month(s)

Shift:

1st few days- Start at 7:00am

Regular start time: 6:30am-3:00pm Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

Assemble parts and operate machinery as instructed.

Perform metalworking tasks such as bending, punching, hand forming, deburring, or sawing.

Support team efforts towards total customer satisfaction and quality products.

Adhere to lean processes, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery.

Maintain safety standards and respect for colleagues.

Essential Skills

Experience with press brake, punch press, turret, line-up, or deburr operations.

Machine operation, including loading and setup.

Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Three to six months of related experience or training.

Knowledge of punching process, punch tooling, roll forming with sheet metal, blueprints, and brake forming.

Experience with hand/power tools is a plus.

Understanding of process flows, lead times, and lean principles in manufacturing.

Strong team player and reliability.

Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.

Work Environment

Our clean manufacturing shop works with steel and sheet metal to manufacture parts for aerospace applications. The environment is heavy-duty, can be loud, but is well-organized. The regular shift is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with initial training starting at 7:00 am. Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
