We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and enhance critical financial operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with opportunities to drive efficiency through process improvements and technology integration. The ideal candidate will thrive on solving complex problems, streamlining workflows, and collaborating across departments to support business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Manage month-end close activities, including fixed assets, accruals, excise tax filing, and balance sheet liability reconciliations.

Oversee accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processes.

Provide support to ensure smooth transaction flows between procurement, production, and accounts payable.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and implement robust internal controls.

Prepare and analyze financial data for management reporting within tight deadlines.

Contribute to annual audit processes and ensure timely completion.

Collaborate with the FP& A team by providing accurate reports to support forecasting and budgeting.

Drive the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and integrations to enhance operational efficiency.

Automate manual processes using advanced tools, AI solutions, and technology-based workflows.

Partner with cross-functional teams to address accounting-related needs and resolve ambiguous situations effectively.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.

Strong knowledge of accounting transactions within procurement and production cycles, particularly from an accounts payable perspective.

Experience in the beverage, food, or similar industries is highly preferred.

Proficiency in NetSuite is strongly desired, with consideration for candidates who demonstrate aptitude for learning new systems.

Advanced skills in Excel, including working with large datasets, complex formulas, and data transformation.

Familiarity with Federal Excise Tax filings for beverage companies is a plus.

Interest in automation, AI tools, and emerging technologies to streamline accounting workflows.

Exceptional attention to detail paired with the ability to see the bigger picture and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
