As a Security Guard - Armed Foot Patrol in Temperanceville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document observations with clear communication. You will support access control, respond to calls for service, and provide professional customer service to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by post orders, documenting entries, exits, and unusual activity.

Complete reports, logs, and required documentation, and use radios, phones, and/or other systems to support security-related operations and coordination.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.

Have at least 6 months+ of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Be 21+ years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
