Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Minot, North Dakota. In this role, you will contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations by handling daily invoice transactions, auditing reports, and ensuring data integrity. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting.

Responsibilities:

Verify daily invoice transactions across multiple sites to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Audit daily financial reports to identify discrepancies and maintain compliance.

Review and confirm the correct entry of financial data into accounting systems.

Process invoices and ensure proper coding for accurate recordkeeping.

Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks efficiently and accurately.

Conduct financial audits to uphold data integrity and adherence to internal policies.

Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes.

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for auditing and reporting purposes.

Assist in streamlining data entry procedures to enhance efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable or accounts receivable.

Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing with a high degree of accuracy.

Strong attention to detail and ability to audit financial reports effectively.

Familiarity with coding invoices and maintaining organized financial records.

Knowledge of financial auditing practices to ensure compliance with standards.

Degree in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
