Assistant Athletic Trainer

The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu) is seeking a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer. This position provides athletic training services for sports to be determined. Administer the care, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and related problems, as well as oversee general administration of the athletic training facilities. The candidate must possess a master's degree in athletic training or related field, and BOC certification and OH licensure eligible (Ohio license must be granted prior to beginning work). While previous athletic training experience is preferred, we welcome applications from highly motivated entry-level candidates. The candidate must be able to perform continuous physical activity, including walking, sitting, standing, bending, and lifting during working hours. This role requires the ability to lift, raise, lower, or carry objects and equipment weighing between 50--75 lbs., necessitating both upward and pulling motions. This position requires regular travel with designated athletic teams to competitions and events. A valid U.S. Driver's license with a safe driving record is required.
