As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening in Kailua, HI , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies for a busy food and beverage location.

Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries entering the location, check credentials and/or required items, and report irregularities according to post procedures.

Respond to incidents, prohibited items, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, loading areas, sales floor areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
